What is the difference between a pivot door and a casement door?
A pivot door rotates around a pivot point set into the floor and head rather than using traditional side hinges. Casement doors use hinges fixed to the side of the frame and are generally better suited to more conventional openings.
Pivot doors can be manufactured at much larger sizes than standard hinged doors, making them ideal for statement entrances and oversized architectural openings.
